On October 13، 2023، within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal of SDG No. 16 "Peace، Justice and effective Institutions"، the Department of Criminal Law، Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics together with the Department of Theory and History of State and Law، Constitutional and Administrative Law held a Webinar "Peculiarities of legal and Organizational and Technical protection of personal data"، where the moderators and the speakers were Doctor of Law، Professor Rima Yerenatovna Dzhansaraeva، PhD، Associate Professor Kuanysh Aratuly، as well as the speaker، Graduate of IITU، Director of BilimLab، Master of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law، Constitutional and Administrative Law Syrym Nurtayevich Zhumakadyrov، Speaker، graduate student of the Department of Criminal Law، Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Simbat Zhanserikovna Kabulova. At today's webinar، a main and relevant topic about the protection of personal data was touched upon.

To date، personal data is very valuable information and the state should properly ensure their safety and confidentiality.

The speakers informed the audience about the concepts of personal data، the legal basis for their protection and what work is being done on organizational and technical aspects of personal data protection.
